    Ajwain has a strong aroma and distinct taste. It is rich in antioxidants which helps to flush out toxins from the body and is packed with two active compounds- thymol and carvacrol, which are known to be helpful in losing weight. Ajwain also helps release gastric juices in the stomach that may aid digestion. Cumin or jeera contain compounds that release digestive enzymes that may soothe the digestion process and provide relief from digestive health concerns. It also keeps the gut health, which is crucial for weight loss.

    Soak half a teaspoon of ajwain and 1 teaspoon jeera in a glass of warm water and leave it overnight. Strain the seeds using a strainer and lukewarm concoction before drinking it. You can add some lemon juice and honey to improve its taste. You can also make the tea by infusing the seeds for two hours in the morning, rather than keeping it overnight.
